Sign Up for Summer At The Lankershim

LPBC has been invited to participate in Summer at the Lankershim, a program hosted at the historic Lankershim Arts Center.

1. What should I wear to my first class?

Whatever is comfortable for you! Some dancers like leggings, shorts or yoga pants with a t-shirt while others prefer tights and a leotard.

2. What shoes should I wear?

Thin, non-skid socks are best if you don't have ballet slippers.

3. Is vaccination against COVID-19 required to take class? Will I need a mask?

Guests must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and show proof of vaccination to enter the Art Center.  Guests not fully vaccinated may show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 72 hours prior to entrance.  Guests are required to wear masks when not eating or drinking.

4. Should I bring anything else?

Water is always good to have! A small towel can come in handy and if your hair is long, you might want to tie it out of your eyes.

5. What is a class like?

The structure of every class is the same: we begin by warming up our muscles, then we do some exercises standing at a barre followed by movement off the barre and across the floor.

6. I have some physical limitations. Can I still take class?

Absolutely! The teachers will do their best to help modify exercises for students.
